Yoga is an eight- limbed path i.e. “Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara,
Dharana, Dhyana, & Samadhi” towards achieving the state of Yoga, also known
as Samadhi. This form of yoga is also known as “Traditional Yoga”.

Processes- According to Hatha Yoga there are six cleansing techniques called
Shat (Shuddhi Kriya). They are as follows:-
i. Dhauti- Regular practice of Dhauti kriya kills various infectious bacteria from the stomach & resultantly aids relief in constipation, poor digestion & acidity problems.
ii. Basti- It is used to cleanse the colon
or large intestine.
iii. Neti- It helps in removing mucus &
pollutants from the nasal passage and sinuses allowing air to flow without
obstruction.

system & strengthens the abdominal muscles.
v. Tratak- It helps to increase and improve concentration & brain functionality.
vi. Kapalbhati- It helps in purification of
whole mind & body.
